Census stakeholders


Dr Leang RITHEA is a medical doctor (Cambodia) with a PhD in Public Health from the Atlantic International University (USA). He has expertise in Malaria and Dengue eradication programs, being in charge of the Dengue Clinical Management of National Dengue Sub-Committee of the Ministry of Health, and of the Secretariat of Malaria Elimination Task Force in Cambodia.
He headed numerous projects on Filariasis in Cambodia, and has been involved in the development of the policy, annual operational plan and mass blood survey for lymphatic Filariasis and national task force for neglected disease control.
He authors many scientific peer reviewed publications.

Dr. Kimchhin SOK

Dr. Kimchhin SOK, an agro-socio-economist, is a Dean of faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development (AERD) of the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), and he is also teaching course on Payment for Ecosystem Services, Agricultural Economics and Marketing, Research Methodology, and Rural Development courses at few faculties including AERD of RUA.
His PhD, at SupAgro Montpellier in France, was devoted to the evolution of farming and livelihood systems in the North-West Tonle Sap lake of Cambodia. Currently, he is leading few research projects related to agro-socio-economics and environmental research projects funded by the French Institute of Research for Sustainable Development (IRD) of France such as; JEAI (Young Researcher associates to IRD) project “Change and Agricultural Dynamics in Cambodia”, COSTEA project “Water Development and Management”, AquaCam project “Risk and Prevention on Aquaculture in Cambodia”.
He authors many scientific peer reviewed publications.

Dr Bunna CHEA

Dr Bunna CHEA is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine of the Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia.
He’s lecturer on Veterinary Microbiology, One Health Practice, Research Proposal, and on Introduction to Veterinary Science at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia
He worked on many subjects such as:
● The determination of the status of antibiotic used, its residual, and its attributive factor;
● The rabies: Inclusive awareness training base among communities in Cambodia funded by Southeast Asia
● The development of Training Module and to Implementation the Training on Good Practices Towards the Responsible Use of Antimicrobials in Cambodian Pig Sector.
He authors many scientific peer reviewed publications.
